Alice and Martha snuffle around as they recap The Dream, which rivals both sisters’ strangest dream stories and somehow, they find a way to relate all this back to the Unabomber.

To be completely honest, I don’t think that Fudge himself even genuinely believe that Madame Maxime had anything to do with the attack on Crouch. It was probably just another excuse to look for.
However, I think that he was very aware that the prejudice against half-giants would stir up and people would consider it, even though there was literally no proof and absolutely no motive. Especially considering the fact that there was a convicted Death Eater on the school grounds and Igor Karkaroff. I think it goes to show how easily in society people will blame a convenience target rather than suspect somebody who looks more like them.
I mean, yeah, Sirius could have been a bit gentler & more tactful about Harry wandering off at night with people he doesn’t know well, but come on. Harry is nearly 15 years old, there’s a known former Death Eater running around at Hogwarts, and someone put his name in the Goblet of Fire with obviously nefarious intentions. He’s old enough to figure out that wandering into the Forbidden Forest after dark in anyone’s company, let alone the company of someone he doesn’t know whose teacher was a Death Eater, is a really stupid idea when someone has already signaled he’s in mortal danger.
Like, I did stupid things when I was 15 that could have put me in danger. When I was 7 and wandered into traffic, my parents kindly explained why that was a bad idea. When I did that at 15, my parents were all, “Come on now. You’re old enough to know this is really stupid.” And when I nearly got hit by a car at 15 because I wasn’t paying attention, my mom yelled and grabbed me by the arm and dragged me away from the car. You can hardly blame Sirius for panicking; I mean, Harry’s nearly died twice this year already, the Dark Mark showed up at the World Cup when he was there, and the previous year Sirius had to watch the kid fall fifty feet from a broomstick. It must have been incredibly stressful trying to look out for him.
Patronuses can change as we saw in the case with Tonks. Hers became a wolf after she fell in love with Remus.
The way that the trio and the twins had the same conversation was cute.
I wonder why there are so many references to Harry’s broken watch.
Sirius signed his own name? He’s breaking all of the rules. I remembered Harry’s Sirirus slip, though.
I love how Martha embraces the sound effects.
Awww, I never even thought about DA prep.
This is the first time I didn’t spot Rita in the room! Sometimes they make it too obvious so I appreciate the subtleness.
