Not much for this episode, but we do get a good intro to Dobby who plays a vital role in the series.
The three House Elves we meet throughout the series are well depicted in the books/movies. Upon meeting them you instantly know what they are about.
I was thinking about Dobby intercepting all the letters. That means Dobby was hunting down and capturing a whole bunch of owls.
The amount of cringe in this chapter and the amount of trouble Harry got in made me like it less than the exposition one. I felt so bad for Harry. He does grow on me as the books go on. Dobby acts so incredibly different than the other elves who are naturally subservant. That’s why I’ve never really been behind Hermione’s SPEW campagne.
